ABOUT COLLEEN

Whether you know me as a coach, public speaker, a meeting planner, a mom or half of the Les Frenchies Travel YouTube team, it’s all the same person.  Truth be told, I have re-invented myself many times over the years.  What I do and how I spend my time has changed, but who I am is as constant as the day is long.

I learned very early in life that questioning myself was important. I am a hyper-rational and practical person with a need for things to make sense.  And so, I brought a great deal of critical thinking in understanding myself and others.  I noticed patterns. Analyzed the judgment of others as well as my own judgment.  I saw myself and others live as though things that didn’t matter were important.  And watched voices be silent while deep down inside we wanted to scream. I watched ridiculously wealthy people be miserable, paupers enjoying life, and everything in between.  I’ve watched people settle for loveless marriages or look the other way at abuse, not quite believing there was anything better available.  I’ve seen people live as if their souls have been sucked out of them, betraying their own longing for the benefit of others. And it broke my heart, and led to the creation of the Clarity Course

The Clarity work I do is based on those observations. It began when people in my community started asking me to work with them.  A congressional candidate, a real estate developer, the founder of a non-profit, and on and on.  I wasn’t a coach.  I was just someone to talk things through with.  I held a mirror for them to see themselves through my eyes, to see what I learned and believed about them through what they told me with both words and non-verbal communication.  For more than a decade, my “side job” was talking with people who struggled with impostor syndrome or wanted more out of life.

It wasn’t until someone asked me if I could help women re-entering life after being in prison that I organized my thoughts into a system.  How could I teach someone to re-learn who they are when they were used to being “nobody”.  Could I help them learn how to teach others who they are today in a way that would give them a genuine chance in life without feeling like a fraud?  Honestly, the work I did to create the training was as powerful for me as the work the ladies did putting their lives back together.

What all of this has taught me is that success has little to do with how wealthy or powerful we are.  It has everything to do with how satisfied we are with how we live our lives, the choices we make, and in the end, if we like the person we are.

That kind of success is the goal of Perspective Education.

ABOUT THERESA

I’ve served as a property manager, a president, a trainer, a Realtor, or the woman who built something of her own from the ground up — I’ve always dedicated myself to serving others. And honestly, the through-line has always been the same: I care deeply about people’s most precious assets, whether that’s their home, their community, or their peace of mind.

I spent more than 30 years in real estate, and what I came to understand is that property management is never really just about property. It’s about running Board of Director meetings, writing and managing large projects, and handling the daily tasks that keep a community functioning. But underneath all of that? It’s about trust. People hand you the keys to the place they call home, and that means something.

I watched how communities fell apart when management treated people like numbers. I watched boards feel unheard, homeowners feel dismissed, and well-meaning volunteers get overwhelmed by systems that weren’t built for them. I watched great neighborhoods deteriorate — not because people didn’t care, but because no one was paying attention to the details and the relationships at the same time. That bothered me deeply. That led me to deeply value the human interactions and the human capital that I worked with. I was learned what it means to serve people well, and what it costs when you don’t.

That love of people and their challenges was fueled by a lifelong desire to help on a deeper, more physiological level. Because here’s the truth, I kept running into people who need someone who actually listens and treats them like they matter. People need to be heard and to learn personal growth. A listening ear and a bit of helpful guidance can change someones life.

I hold two Master’s degrees and multiple professional designations and licenses. But credentials are just the floor, not the ceiling. What matters is how people feel. With Perspective Education, we’re able to help people learn about themselves and grow in ways they didn’t know were possible. That’s an incredible feeling, and something I am more than just a bit ecstatic to be part of!
